WHO IS OUR HOTSHOT SERVICE SUITABLE FOR?
Our dedicated hotshot courier service provides door to door freight, single load freight. What this means is that goods are transported directly from the sender to the receiver, with no warehousing or collation of the consignment with other deliveries (except for limited collation when express air freight services are used). This allows for the fastest possible delivery of your consignment.
If you are in a time-critical industry where every minute of every hour it takes for freight to arrive is important, or potentially costs you money, then our Hotshot/Hurricane service is for you. Examples include parts used in the mining industry, materials urgently required for construction jobs and perishable/urgent medical supplies.
HOW WE DELIVER OUR HOTSHOT/HURRICANE COURIER SERVICES
Fly Drive Direct are available to take your hotshot/hurricane freight bookings and action it at any time (day or night) anywhere in mainland Australia. Our extensive network includes operations based out of each mainland capital city and the ability to service a number of key regional areas, including Newman and the Pilbara in Western Australia, Macarthur/Gulf of Carpentaria in the Northern Territory, Roxby Downs/Olympic Dam in South Australia, Dysart and Mackay in Queensland and Moss Vale, Singleton and Muswellbrook in New South Wales.
All our hot shot deliveries are dispatched and monitored through our depot near Newcastle, in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales.
Our fully licensed drivers are assigned to a suitable vehicle from our extensive courier fleet, who will then arrange for the pick-up and delivery of your urgent freight. Where suitable, we also arrange for any air freight component for your Hot Shot shipment, including cargo terminal drop off and pickup. Depending on distance, drivers are assigned either as singles or two up to maximise on-road time and minimise delivery times.
